COST gapped down to open at $170.79. During the rapidly shifting market at the open, the broker re-entered our exit order, and we got filled at $2.07. We had a great trade. Anytime I can make $2500 for one day of work it is a good day.
COST has its earnings announcement tonight after the market closes. The IV in the short term options is up to 55%. This will come dropping down after the earnings announcement tonight. We are using this dual calendar style trade to capture a profit from that drop in IV.
A nice close on CMG!!! We opened up near $434 and then quickly dropped down to $412. The price of CMG has been pretty chaotic, but our exit target got solidly hit and we walked with a profit. Not a bad way to make $1715 overnight.
